Terms and Conditions – Rinse Gestalt Therapy
1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions apply to all therapeutic services provided by Rinske Engländer registered as a Gestalt therapist at Rinse Gestalt Therapy under AGB- code; 901092/ AGB- code Rinse 94065725. KVK; 69302170
The therapist operates as an independent sole practitioner and is responsible for the professional, ethical, and legal conduct of their practice. By engaging in therapy (signing the Therapy Agreement that follows the intake), the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Nature of Therapy
Gestalt therapy is a form of psychological treatment aimed at personal development, awareness, and growth.
It does not replace medical, psychiatric, or crisis intervention care. The therapist will make reasonable efforts to respond to messages or requests in a timely manner, but cannot guarantee immediate availability outside of regular working hours.
If the therapist becomes concerned about the client’s safety during a session, the therapist may contact emergency services or another appropriate resource. The client remains responsible for their own decisions, actions, and wellbeing during and after the therapeutic process.
3. Confidentiality and Data Protection
All information shared in therapy is treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with professional ethics and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Client records are stored securely within the digital system Carepatron, which complies with GDPR requirements.
Personal data are used solely for therapeutic, administrative, and legal purposes.
Information is shared with third parties only with the client’s explicit written consent, unless required by law (e.g., in cases of danger to self or others, or by court order).

4. Appointments and Cancellations
Sessions are by appointment only.
A standard therapy session lasts 60 minutes.
Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 30 hours in advance without charge.
Cancellations made less than 30 hours before the appointment, or no-shows, will be charged the full session fee, except in emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
The therapist reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions if necessary (e.g., due to illness or force majeure).
5. Fees and Payment
The session fee is €120,- EUR per session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment is due within two weeks of receiving the invoice through email. Payment request can be sent by phone.
Payment is made by bank transfer, card payment, or invoice (depending on arrangement).
Late payments may incur administrative costs and must be settled within 14 days of the invoice date.
Therapy costs are not always covered by insurance; it is the client’s responsibility to verify potential reimbursement with their insurance provider.
6. Termination of Therapy
Both therapist and client have the right to end therapy at any time.
The therapist may terminate the therapeutic relationship if continuation is deemed no longer beneficial or appropriate.
In such cases, the therapist will offer to discuss alternative support or referrals to other professionals.
7. Professional Conduct and Liability
The therapist adheres to the ethical code and professional standards of Gestalt therapy practice.
The therapist maintains appropriate professional liability insurance.
The therapist cannot be held liable for decisions, outcomes, or actions taken by the client outside the therapeutic context.
8. Emergencies and Crisis Situations
The therapist does not provide emergency or crisis intervention services.
In urgent situations, clients should contact their general practitioner, local mental health services, or emergency number (112). If within working hours, clients can reach out to see what or who should be called.
9. Complaints Procedure
In case of dissatisfaction or complaints, clients are encouraged to first discuss the issue directly with the therapist.
If the issue cannot be resolved, the client may submit a formal complaint to the relevant professional association or complaints body (e.g., SCAG, NVAGT, EAGT).
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of The Netherlands (EU).
Any disputes arising from the therapeutic agreement shall be resolved in accordance with Dutch law.
11. Acceptance
By commencing therapy with Rinske Engländer, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
