Burnout Therapy | Amsterdam Herengracht.
Burnout.
Being at the end of your rope is a good reason to go to therapy. Something in you is screaming to do something, yet you feel very depleted and can’t get anything done anymore. Work piles up and stopping seems like it will only make things worse. But now that you have reached the end of your rope, something has got to give. Where to start? When it’s hard to even get out of bed, move, do groceries, or reach out, it can be hard to know.
We start by slowing down, together, looking at your most immediate needs first. Finding a new base is necessary before establishing a new direction, or a new way of doing things. We take a look at convictions that you learned along the way, that keep you going, even when you would like to stop.
Bore-out.
Doing the same job every day. Working under your capacity. Doing things that don’t spark your joy. Not being appreciated for what you do bring to the table. Not being able to use your full potential. And telling yourself all kinds of things
All examples of the feelings surrounding a bore out.
