Burnout Therapy in Amsterdam

Burnout doesn’t happen overnight. It builds slowly, until suddenly, you reach a point where nothing seems to work anymore. You feel exhausted. Overwhelmed. Stuck. Even simple things can feel like too much.

That’s why you’re here. To tackle it together.

What burnout can feel like

You might recognise this:

  • You feel constantly tired, even after resting

  • It’s hard to focus or get anything done

  • Work keeps piling up, but you can’t start

  • Getting out of bed, cooking, or replying to messages feels heavy

  • You feel pressure to keep going, even when you can’t

Something in you is saying: this can’t continue like this.

Being at the end of your rope

Reaching this point is not a failure. It’s a signal.

Something in you is asking for a different way of living, working, or relating.

And even if it feels overwhelming, it’s also where change becomes possible.

How I work with burnout

We don’t start with fixing everything.

We start with slowing down.

Together, we:

  • focus on what you need right now

  • create space to breathe and stabilise

  • look at what has been driving you to keep going

  • explore the beliefs and patterns that make it hard to stop

Before moving forward, we build a new base.

From there, we can begin to find direction again.

Reviews.

  • I felt at home from our very first conversation. You really listened to me, saw me. I always felt seen and heard in my questions and my search. I find you very sensitive, super accurate in tuning in without disappearing yourself. I found it very supportive that you allowed yourself to be visibly affected.

    — Irene.

  • Rinske is very knowledgeable in her approach and knows how to put you at ease in confrontational conversations. A session with Rinske feels like a conversation with a very good friend who also dares to ask the right questions to help you with your process of self-reflection.

    — Ditha.

  • After a difficult period, I ended up at Rinske's practice. I had no previous experience with any form of therapy, but Rinske made sure that wasn't a problem at all. She was a good listener and we had some great conversations. Thank you, Rinske!

Burnout & bore-out

Burnout doesn’t only come from doing too much.

It can also come from doing too little of what actually matters.

You might be experiencing:

  • lack of challenge or stimulation

  • work that doesn’t feel meaningful

  • not being recognised or valued

  • not using your full potential

  • repeating the same patterns without change

This is sometimes called bore-out.

And it can feel just as exhausting.

What begins to shift

As we work together, you may start to notice:

  • more clarity around what drains you and what gives energy

  • more permission to stop or rest

  • a better sense of your limits

  • the ability to make different choices

Not all at once, but step by step.
